I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) in good standing with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC #27587).

I hold a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Victoria (UVic),  where my education as a therapist included specialized supervision and training in working with trauma exposed professionals. Before opening this practice, I worked in an in-patient setting, providing individual and group counselling to trauma exposed professionals who had voluntarily sought help.

I have worked as a Paramedic in BC for over four years. This experience has helped me better understand some of the complexities and nuances faced by trauma exposed professionals.

Outside of providing counselling, I maintain a breadth of work in the field of counselling psychology, including conducting research on group therapy, recovery-messaging, and education tools, as well as instructing at UVic.
