I believe that healing happens when we can (re)learn how to feel safe, and find a space to be truly understood. In this space, we can see that most behaviours we develop make complete sense once their origin stories are mapped out. While certain ways of being were likely the best available strategy we had to survive, they may also create substantial pain today - and may need re-adjustment when we are in a place to live beyond mere survival.

It is my lived and professional experience that processing the impact of what has happened to us not only helps us live the lives we really desire, but also helps us show up as who we want to be for and to the people we care about.
